Length of contract: Permanent subject to funding

Salary: £25,480 – £27,582 (negotiable depending on experience)

Based at: Accrington Lancashire/ Hybrid Working

Purpose of role

To raise the profile of Advocacy Focus with key stakeholders (people we support, commissioners, health and social care professionals and local businesses).

The Marketing Executive will take responsibility for all marketing activity, including various strategies and projects as needed. They will work with the Operations Manager and Senior Leadership Team to implement and develop marketing plans, including promotional/information materials, email marketing via newsletter and promotional mailings, social media, PR opportunities, and database management.

A brief overview of the role

The Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing an annual marketing strategy with the Senior Leadership Team, which incorporates a quarterly marketing plan to implement the strategy. Marketing activity includes creating posts and promoting our organisation on various social media channels (inc. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Tik Tok).

You will be responsible for writing promotional articles and updating the events on the website (WordPress) and external membership websites (LBV Hub, Lancashare, Chamber of Commerce etc). When required, you will upload new literature, imagery and videos to the website and YouTube, within brand guidelines. You will also maintain/cleanse the data for our newsletters in Mailchimp.
