We have signed up to show our commitment to become more Disability Confident.
Through Disability Confident and other projects and campaigns, we are working to ensure that disabled people and those with long term health conditions have the opportunities to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations. This commitment is to all of our team; our staff members, our volunteers and our trustees.
We are committed to:
• Challenging attitudes towards disability
• Increasing understanding of disability
• Removing barriers to disabled people and those with long-term health conditions
• Ensuring that disabled people have the opportunities to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations.
Justine, our CEO says:
We are committed to equity in the workplace, in all of our teams and in our communities. We treat all our employees, volunteer team members and our beneficiaries fairly, whilst respecting everyone as an individual. It comes down to respect for people and respect is one of our 6 organisation’s values and shapes how we treat each other and how we deliver our person-led service.

Nicola, our Volunteer Manager says:
Our volunteers are a diverse team who support a diverse range of people. If you have the desire to volunteer to help people in your local community, then I want to highlight that we can try and be accommodating a disability or a long term health condition. We support people residing on local mental health wards and we welcome applications from people who have lived experience of ill mental health.
