At Advocacy Focus, we believe that people are the experts in their own lives. They know what they want and need, but sometimes don’t have the confidence, information, or support to make decisions or understand their rights. Without help, people can feel powerless or have decisions made for them, rather than with them.
That’s why we’ve expanded our Community Advocacy service into Trafford. Funded by the National Lottery, this service is designed to give people early support – well before situations become crises. Our Community Advocates help people understand their options, speak up for themselves, and make decisions about their lives with confidence.
How we can help
Our Trafford team provides telephone or face-to-face support (via referral) for people aged 18 and over, helping with:
The aim is simple: to prevent, reduce, or delay the need for services and help people stay independent and in control. Put simply, our Community Advocates are here to help people live the lives they want to live.
